Our Story
Following the sudden and unexpected passing of Olga Tinashe Zishiri, on 30 May 2020 the family, friends and companions came together and successfully established an organisation, July 15th in Memory of Olga T. Company Limited by Guarantee on 14th July 2021, in the loving memory of Olga Tinashe Zishiri, in honour of Olga Tinashe Zishiri’s wish of extending one act of kindness to someone on the day she was born July 15th. The family of Olga Tinashe Zishiri established the July 15th in memory of Olga T. Company Limited by Guarantee to create a platform that will support individuals finding it difficult to cope with life transitions through a help line followed by face-to-face counselling sessions free of charge.
Our Mission
July 15th Foundation devotes time and resources to work:
- To develop broad-based community support for suicide awareness
- To raise public awareness to reduce isolation, increase community understanding of risk factors and increase the likelihood that those at risk will seek help.
- Increase community knowledge in identifying and helping those at risk and those affected by suicide.
- Provide resources/training opportunities for community
